Larry has been in the unique position of working all facets of the hospitality industry: bartender; server; door person; entertainer; management; banquet/ restaurant and pub operations in hotels; conference planner; food and beverage manager; TIPS trainer and international speaker at trade shows and exhibitions.

Throughout all of these positions, one passion has remained constant and strong:  the quest to promote responsible serving and consumption of alcoholic beverages.

Larry has been teaching, inspiring--and challenging!--members of the hospitality industry to "love what they do" since 1987.  His dynamic seminar sessions on promotions continue to draw standing room only crowds throughout North America and have been recognized again and again as the industry's best.  Larry has been invited to speak for such professional organizations as:  The International Nightclub & Bar Expo; the Bar & Beverage Expo; On-Tap; the New Jersey State Licensed Beverage Association; IMCEA; Morale, Welfare & Recreation (MWR); The Tri-State License Retailers Association (New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania); the Bar Essentials Expo; The British Columbia Yukon Hotelier's Association;  The Neighborhood Pub Association of British Columbia; and The Association of Campus Hospitality Management…to name a few.

As a TIPS Trainer, Larry has enlightened over 600 servers in three short years.  This past March, Larry certified as an Independent Master Trainer for TIPS.  He has already been scheduled to conduct "Train the Trainer" sessions in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Virginia, Maryland, New York, New Hampshire, Maine, Indiana, Ohio, Alabama, Tennessee, Florida, District of Columbia, Vermont, Kentucky, Nebraska, North Carolina and Illinois to date.
